Resumen
RINALDI, Daniel. Juegos etimológicos en Eurípides. Nova tellus [online]. 2007, vol.25, n.1, pp.155-216. ISSN 0185-3058. https://doi.org/10.19130/iifl.nt.2007.25.1.216.
The etymological puns, involving words that sound similar, offer novel interpretations of the true meaning of different terms. Euripides is particularly interested in wordplays that show an origin and offer a meaning to proper names. In fact, with these wordplays he tries to recognise the truth, not evident to everyone, that hides in these names and he seeks to underline the very close tie that, according to the Greeks, exists between the fate of a man and his own name.
