Resumen

ABRITTA, Alejandro  y  ROUTIER, Pablo Martín. The construction of the poetic self in three fragments of Sappho (115, 121 and 168b V.) from a comprehensive perspective: analysis and theoretical considerations from three motives in fr. 31 V. Nova tellus [online]. 2023, vol.41, n.1, pp.37-54.  Epub 31-Mar-2023. ISSN 0185-3058.  https://doi.org/10.19130/iifl.nt.2023.41.1.2300s01x02.

In this article we study a selection of Sappho’s fragments from the combination of metrical and literary analyses, in order to research the different compositional strategies with which the poet constructs the poetic self in the texts. After some theoretical considerations, we will present the metrical analysis of each poem, to see how poetic self is constructed in them, and how both aspects reinforce or contrast with each other.
