San Francisco de Asís de Real de Catorce is a picture full of mysticism and legend. The popular tradition attributes a specific personality to the image, miracles and stories around “San Francisco de Asís de Real de Catorce”, also known as “Panchito”. These local narratives show San Francisco particular capacities that distinguishes it as a miraculous image, such as walk and move in the human world. The text discusses this and other San Francisco image qualities to address its importance in the region and its acting capacity, as social effects intentional causing. As well as its qualities as individual (personhood) and its role as an entity that connects humans in their needs with the Divine level.
