FRESNEDA CAMACHO, Edel J.. Transnational Dispersion of Vulnerability: Reexamining Migration in Peripheral Development. Secuencia [online]. 2022, n.114, e1955. Epub 19-Sep-2022. ISSN 2395-8464. https://doi.org/10.18234/secuencia.v0i114.1955.
The aim of this article is to examine Vulnerability’ transnational dispersion notion, to refer the links between the stages in a migration cycle that arises from the development disadvantageous nature, with the marginalization and vulnerability conditions that exist in this nature. Vulnerability is understood here as a crucial concept that consents the comprehension of different causes that migration has in the same context. In addition, this concept tolerates the dialogue between theories; when it is understood as a consequence of heterogeneity and development imbalances, that results from unequal integration among countries; outcome from which individuals elaborate their own interpretations and strategies with an influence in the subsequent migrant course.
