Dr. Brígida del Carmen García Guzmán received the Research Fellow Emerita distinction from El Colegio de México in recognition of her outstanding academic career in the area of sociodemography, and her committed work in the training of population scholars. The ceremony was held on June 24, 2019, in the Alfonso Reyes Hall of this institution.
