The central problem of this essay is the specific conception and meaning of the insurgency for the indigenous farmers in the conflicting Andean delayed colonial world. It identifies a central nucleus of anticolonial political options before 1782, which outline an Andean utopia: the one of the end of the Spanish colonial government and the alternative of the Indian self-government.
