Resumen

NARRO RAMIREZ, Ana Elena  y  GARCIA GUTIERREZ, Alfonso. Las matemáticas limpian el agua. Polít. cult. [online]. 2009, n.31, pp.259-288. ISSN 0188-7742.

Leon city has a growing concern about the problem of water, which is polluted mainly by the tannery industries, shoe manufacturers and agroindustries. By law, environmental authorities have asked each polluter to abate pollution, but the task has gone to no avail. The purpose of this paper is to prove that the problem has a solution. To find it, it was built a non-linear-dynamic program starting from the traditionally used treatment processes to clean the waste currents as a solution for a new strategy for a lower cost which shares among the emitters using analytical ranking.

Palabras llave : water pollution abatement; non-linear-dynamic program; analytical ranking; applied mathematics; resourse optimization.
