OLIVARES CORREA, Marta y MEZA GONZALEZ, Javier. Spinoza y Bayle: espíritu crítico y libertad de conciencia. Polít. cult. [online]. 2013, n.39, pp.27-52. ISSN 0188-7742.
This article seeks to demonstrate how the ideas of the philosopher Baruch Spinoza and Pierre Bayle -French essayist- are key inputs and, therefore, classical in the construction of critical thinking called modernity. Particularly seeks to emphasize the need for freedom of conscience and tolerance, as vital and well-understood aspects of the contemporary world. It defines these concepts using the ideas and historical events.
