HERNANDEZ-HUESCA, Rosario y AGUILAR-ARMENTA, Gelacio. Calores isostéricos de adsorción de CO2 en zeolitas naturales mexicanas. Rev. Soc. Quím. Méx [online]. 2002, vol.46, n.2, pp.109-114. ISSN 0583-7693.
In this work, the adsorption equilibrium isotherms of CO2 in Mexican natural zeolites erionite (ZAPS), mordenite (ZNT) and clinoptilolite (ZN-19) have been measured at t ≤ 27 °C using a glass high-vacuum volumetric system, equipped with grease-free valves. The amount of adsorbed CO2 was greater on ZAPS than on ZNT and ZN-19 because the cationic density and micropore volume of erionite are greater than those of mordenite and clinoptilolite. The adsorption isosteric heat for ZAPS sample was greater than for the other two zeolites because the higher surface energetic heterogeneity of ZAPS sample. The ZAPS, ZNT and ZN-19 are samples from deposits of Sonora, Tamaulipas and San Luis Potosí, respectively.
