Resumen

GAMINO MUNOZ, Rodolfo. The Metaphors of Absence in Mexico. Hist. graf [online]. 2022, n.58, pp.163-198.  Epub 21-Feb-2022. ISSN 1405-0927.  https://doi.org/10.48102/hyg.vi58.401.

This writing is an approach to the study of some metaphors that have been produced by relatives with missing-absent beings in private-public spaces and, furthermore, profusely lexicalized. In this work, these metaphors and their lexicalization will be examined only through some recently produced documentaries and testimonies of relatives recorded in compiled books. At the same time, the metaphor of the Victim-victim created by the Mexican State to provide political, social and legal solutions to the phenomenon of forced disappearance of persons will also be analyzed in this work.

Palabras llave : Disappearance; families; State; absence; metaphors.
