VELASCO ENRIQUEZ, María Fernanda  y  QUIROGA-GARZA, Angélica. Systemic factors associated with the scholastic experience of adolescents with high intellectual potential. RMIE [online]. 2018, vol.23, n.79, pp.1051-1074. ISSN 1405-6666.

This study, characterized by a mixed, comparative focus, evaluated the influence of internal and external systemic factors among students with high intellectual potential who attend an extracurricular educational center. The findings indicate that internal factors, resilience, and emotional intelligence are helpful for students as they handle the stress of extracurricular activities; external factors such as family organization and student experience at the educational center have an impact on student motivation and performance as they continue their academic preparation.

Palabras llave : exceptional students; family/school relationship; emotional intelligence; resilience; clinical psychology.
