The bone cement of calcium phosphate (CPC) are bioactives, osteoconductives and resorbables cements. In this work, as liquid phase a NaCl 0.1M solution was used and as solid phase α−Ca3(PO4)2 was used, for making this cement. In order to enhance the mechanical properties of CPC, collagen fibers were added to the composition of the ceramics. In this paper we studied three different formulations of cement; stress-strain curves were obtained; the Young's modulus, maximum compressive strength and elastic and plastic regions for each formulation were determined.
