CALZADILLA, A. et al. Assessing the monocomponent decomposition technique able to more accurately deliver the vibration produced by a gear. J. appl. res. technol [online]. 2020, vol.18, n.3, pp.169-177. Epub 30-Jul-2021. ISSN 2448-6736. https://doi.org/10.22201/icat.24486736e.2020.18.3.1087.
This work addresses the assessment, given a group of monocomponent signal decomposition techniques, of the technique able to deliver, in the clearer form (higher modulation detection index), the monocomponent signal corresponding to the first (or second) harmonic of the vibration produced by a gear (a modulation signal). To do that, the Modulation Detection Index (MDI) is computed. The research was performed by working with simulation and true signals. It was proved that, among a group of monocomponent signal decomposition techniques, the technique SSD is the one that delivers more clearly the modulation.
