RODRIGUEZ-CASTILLO, Luis. Public Action and Social Development in the Southeast of Mexico: the Agenda Chiapas-ONU. LiminaR [online]. 2014, vol.12, n.2, pp.163-180. ISSN 2007-8900.
In this collaboration I present different interpretations and actions generated around so-called "Chiapas-UN Agenda", ideally based on the Millennium development goals. The strategy of social communication of the Government of the State generated a metonymic relation between this policy and the program of Sustainable Rural Cities. From an anthropological perspective, document knowledge and assessments as well as the behaviors of different agents that are aligned around divergent projects, both for and against these policies - Chiapas-UN Agenda and Sustainable Rural Cities-. There are displayed in these arenas of social policy different codes of political culture of the agents involved, which generates an "intense public action".
