Resumen

ASSELBORN, Carlos J.. Fetishization and Critique of Reason. Latinoamérica [online]. 2015, n.61, pp.209-235. ISSN 2448-6914.

Hinkelammert points out three fetishization-inversion processes in the history of contemporary societies: 1) the fetishization of no-class society; 2) about democracy and human rights; 3) about the subject. His criticism is based on the theoretical core that hasn't suffered big changes over time, but it has its main categorical tools in the concepts of utopia and reproductive rationality. We offer a summary of his contributions and outline some questions that suspect about the efficacy of a presumed ethic criticism to the own instrumental rationality of the capitalist modernity.

Palabras llave : Reproductive Rationality; Utopia; Fetishism; Desire; Emancipation.
