FUENTES GUTIERREZ, Virginia y AGRELA ROMERO, Belén. Precariousness Circuits of Bolivian Carers in Spain: Family Implications and Transnational Survivals. Migr. Inter [online]. 2018, vol.9, n.3, pp.121-144. ISSN 2594-0279. https://doi.org/10.17428/rmi.v9i34.348.
Starting from current gender and family implications within migratory processes, we inquire into the recrudescence of labor market as a result of the economic crisis and its unequal impact on Bolivian women and their families in Spain. We analyze the interviews and we delve into the inequality processes and strategies of transnational survival which they are embarked. The findings show that the subsequent arrive to Spain of Bolivian women determine their labor and social insertion. We reflect on how their own families are functioning as transnational care and support providers, through complex family arrangements: family separation or return.
