In recent times, feminism as a movement has acquired great resonance. Here we recover one of the important efforts of women to claim recognition of their participation in social revolutions: we refer to the ideas and actions of Alexandra Kollontai, a character who before and after the Russian revolution of 1917 claimed the role of women in the construction of a new society. She was an activist who promoted two revolutions: one with a high political-economic sense (the Bolshevik) and another that tendentially was of a cultural order, modifying the situation of women in the social formation that was being built at that time (the Soviet Union).
