The development of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has allowed new ways of mercantile hiring. The current study analyses the perfection of the contract among businessmen through the Internet. The study concludes that the most important aspect -in accordance with the Venezuelan law- is the intervention of automated information systems during the process of contractual relation, in order to apply the criterion of attenuated knowledge or of the issuing of the offer for determining the moment of the perfection of the e-contract.
