RODRIGUEZ GONZALEZ, Juan Antonio. Businessman's political activism: Aguascalientes, case study. Polis [online]. 2008, vol.4, n.2, pp.85-124. ISSN 2594-0686.
The arrival of entrepreneurs to political parties is not new to the national political system. Since the beginning of the party system, cases of corporate actors in the political institutes structure can be found. Moreover, it is not unusual to find it in what Pianebianco called the momento fundacional of the parties' life cycle. It is a recurrence in their approach to the so-called right-wing. With the PRI, entrepreneurs maintained a relationship of rapprochement-distance, especially when their interests were affected. In this essay we argue that the inclusion of entrepreneurs, as much as their passing through the parties' life cycle has been part of their corporate culture, even the parties manifest at present a business rooted mark. To make clear our assertion, we conducted a case study of hidrocálidos businessman.
