JIMENEZ, Sandra Rosario. Social management of water: program K030 in irrigation district 061, Zamora, Michoacán, México. agric. soc. desarro [online]. 2011, vol.8, n.3, pp.329-344. ISSN 1870-5472.
This manuscript has the objective of showing social and power relations that arose from implementation of Program K030, which consists in the exchange of 5 million cubic meters of rolling water for five million cubic meters of underground water, in Module 4 of irrigation district 061, Zamora, in the state of Michoacán, México. The consequences that accepting this program have brought to the agricultural scope are analyzed, among which the insertion of some producers to strawberry production and the polarization of users who have access to clean water and those who do not, stand out.
