BARRIENTOS TECUN, Dante. INDIVIDUAL AND SOCIETY IN THE POETRY OF ANA MARÍA RODAS (GUATEMALA, 1937) AND ROSSANA ESTRADA BÚCARO (GUATEMALA, 1963). Península [online]. 2016, vol.11, n.1, pp.175-190. ISSN 1870-5766. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.pnsla.2016.01.008.
In this paper, we will focus into two autors' production - Ana Maria Rodas and Rossana Estrada Bucaro - which belongs to different literary generation. The first one has started publishing in The 70's whereas the second one started at the end of the 90's.
However, their poetic line reveals - through many different kind of writings - a preoccupation which, starting from the female individuality, turn on the collectivity beyond every exclusively generic line. The reading that we propose stack upon two poetic collection: El fin de los mitos y los sueños (1984) de A. M. Rodas, y En clave de Luna (1999) de R. Estrada Búcaro.
