Resumen

ALVAREZ SANCHEZ, Gustavo. The Theophany and the Innefable in Pierre Klossowsky. En-clav. pen [online]. 2017, vol.11, n.22, pp.13-32. ISSN 2594-1100.

The present work approaches Pierre Klossowski's thoughts in order to make evident the separation between what's visible and what is said based on three key elements: the Christian hypostasis that produces arbitrary signs and simulations with no original, forcing the acceptance of the separation between the material character of the body and the word of the spirit; in second place, the suppression of the religious vocation through the denial of the theological knowledge (word) and the alive and incomplete pictures (image) are analyzed; finally, a reference to the myth of Diana and Actaeon is made, to draw out the conclusion that the theophany is both, impossible and ineffable, reason why iconoclasm turns to be an alternative for those who privilege sight over speech.

Palabras llave : Klossowski; picture; drill; look; ineffable.
