In recent years Mexico has strongly promoted tourism to exploit natural beauties population and culture, because he hopes to generate more impacts on economy and employability. The WTO says that these benefits are also generated through related sectors. Tourism in the Estado de México doesn't have an important weight in the GDP of the towns, but about tourism activities that contribute more to growth are developed, but there are some activities with relation from tourism, they have more impact in the GDP. But there are not studies to determine the effect of tourism on other economic activities. This research explains the GDP contribution of tourism on the three most important activities in the GDP of the State of Mexico. Tourism GDP was analyzed as an explanatory variable in the GDP of manufacturing, trade and real estate services from a linear regretion. We used government statics and found that GDP tourism is an important explanatory value in GDP of trade and real estate, but it has no explanatory value in the manufacturing GDP. We suggest that government programs to boost tourism must be measured their impact on related economic activities.
