SARFSON GLEIZER, Susana y LARRAZ RABANOS, Natalia. Influences of musical learning in well-being of a group of people over 65 years. Acta de investigación psicol [online]. 2017, vol.7, n.2, pp.2727-2734. ISSN 2007-4719. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.aipprr.2017.06.004.
This article presents an investigation to evaluate the influence of musical learning in a group of adults over 65 years. The musical activities were based on audioperceptive (active musical hearing, training of the auditory discrimination, musical reading) and group song. An initial, and final assessment was carried out where the improvement in the subjective well-being of the participants was evidenced. With regard to cognitive abilities, there is some cognitive impairment at the beginning, but the initial abilities have been maintained in all cases, and there have been improvements in several of the group members. It is considered that the program should be applied for a longer time to assess its influence on conservation of cognitive abilities.
