The purpose of this article is to analyze the immobilizing opportunity to corporate real estate, considering the expectations of users of real estate corporations. In order to achieve our purpose, we have chosen as our method the case study of a situation where a micro branch of information technology has been applied to construction. Thus, the purchase opportunities and its alternatives were evaluated: a short-term lease, long-term lease and built-to-suit. The method of decision-making was the hierarchical analysis, forit contemplates both qualitative and quantitative decision criteria, which are relevant to the choice between the alternatives. The result of the analysis is the recommendation of possible choices between the shown alternatives, starting from the one that best meets the criteria prioritized by stakeholders.
