This work speaks of the social and educational impact that took in Chiapas the indigenous policy operated through the Centro Coordinador of San Cristobal de Las Casas, and how this experience seems to pick up thirty years later by the Diocese of San Cristobal de Las Casas, with the purpose of training promoters of education between the Guatemalan refugee population in Chiapas, and thus respond with efficiency, autonomy and sensitivity to the needs not met by the Mexican government.
