Resumen

PORCELLI, Adriana Margarita. Artificial intelligence and robotics: its social, ethical and legal dilemmas. Derecho glob. Estud. sobre derecho justicia [online]. 2020, vol.6, n.16, pp.49-105.  Epub 27-Ene-2021. ISSN 2448-5136.  https://doi.org/10.32870/dgedj.v6i16.286.

The increasing digitalization of human activity has fused the physical, digital and biological worlds in a way that will transform humanity into its very essence. This new reality uses Internet metadata or data itself as a means of communication and as a message which needs artificial intelligence applications and solutions to be processed. While artificial intelligence will help solve the increasingly complex economic and social problems, it also raises numerous ethical dilemmas and the necessary formulation of modern legislation according to the reality to be regulated. The objective of this work is to conceptualize artificial intelligence and analyze the latest recommendations of the European Commission on robotics. The methodology was based on the updating of the conceptual framework and the normative analysis in the framework of the European Strategy on Artificial Intelligence to conclude in its necessary update.
