This work aims at the methodological development of an instrument to differentiate the behavioral tendency of workers or employees within an institution or organization. The work presents a qualitative approach when developing the instrument and analyzing part of the information it yields and a quantitative approach when exposing the instrument to a descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The scope of this work is descriptive, since it indicates the tendency of behavior of workers according to a typology (knowledge worker, worker X or worker Y). The sampling is non-probabilistic and the collection of information was made on employees of public and private organizations, of a technical level of studies or higher. The results indicate that the instrument, so far, is a good predictor of the behavioral trend of workers or employees of an organization or institution.
