Resumen

BECERRIL TORRES, Osvaldo U.; MUNGUIA VAZQUEZ, Gabriela  y  CANALES GARCIA, Rosa Azalea. Trans Pacific Partnership and Globalization. Who would have gains in technical efficiency?. Anál. econ. [online]. 2017, vol.32, n.81, pp.49-73. ISSN 2448-6655.

The Trans-Pacific-Partnership is emerging as a mega-agreement by the potential impact on the regional and global GDP. Their analysis considered from issues of democracy and sovereignty, to issues of intellectual property, legal and national scope; however, it is null on the technical efficiency of the economies involved. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify the countries that they would obtain better positions in its efficiency. To do this, use is made of the econometrics of Stochastic Frontier Analysis. The findings identified that high-income countries would get less respect for efficiency gains in middle-income countries.

Palabras llave : technical efficiency; economic globalization; TransPacific Partnership; efficiency gains.
