This article aims to identify the ability to relate the HSB model nomenclature with color as part of the perception process, among professionals engaged in the areas of design and architecture in the city of Tijuana. This is a descriptive research in which the quantitative method was used according to Hernández, Fernández and Baptista (2010). The results show that in the analyzed sample, men correctly relate the names of the HSB model with the colors used in the present study, with a higher frequency than women.
