Systemic family therapy, was inspired by the general theory of systems, being the pioneer von bertalanffy, applying psychosocial sciences the family represents the system analysis unit, being a set of coordinated parts and continuous interaction for the scope of Objectives, so it was considered the third revolution, after conductive therapy. Murray Bowen, a creator of the “Genogram”, interpreted the family as a whole, intensely involved with each other, also observing the generational and transgenerational risk factors where it was schematized at least three generations. In 1966, the “Millis Commission” in parallel with “The Committee on Education for Family Practice”, created a new group of specialists by changing the focus of medicine care, which they called “family doctor”, together United, Canada and Great Britain. This allowsmthe family doctor a direct observation of individuals in the consultation, identifying the symptoms that manifest some member, representing in its study unit as the patient “symptom”, can not necessarily have organic disease, but to be the result of family dysfunctions, paranormative crises and / or adverse events.
