This paper studies the sense of metaphysics in Kant’s philosophy. The aim is not to scrutinize each one of the determinations that he offers whenever he describes both the work of the tradition and his own, but to explore what does the possibility of such difference -and unity- between traditional and Kantian metaphysics consist of. Hence, the emphasis of this study lies in the historicity of Kantian’s philosophy according to some fundamental concepts.
