The article deals with Gonzalo Aurelio Esteva Landero and his life as a writer and journalist, through the bibliographic analysis of the works that his printing house published and which are preserved in a collection at the National Library of Mexico, from which we can account for the issues, authors and translators who were a part of his editorial production, as well as the political context and the conditions of the typographic medium between the years of 1877 and 1887.
