A theoretical and analytical review is presented on the tourist city of Puerto Iguazú and its peri-urban area, "Reserva Iriapú, 600 hectares", next to the National Park in Misiones Argentina. In this area are native communities of Guarani that have undergone social modifications its geographical space since 2003, during which international capital flows increased and tourism public policies were consolidated towards internationalization processes. In this context, the objective of the present research is focused on identifying the impacts (Reports, development plans, and statistical data of government agencies, private consultancies and testimonials of well-known anthropologists) as well as the first field-based approaches To the study area, which allows And to make a compilation of data and testimonies that paid for the theoretical and analytical review. Where the conclusions show that provincial tourist and territorial policies far from promoting a fair and balanced development for the native communities, they end up increasing the levels of social inequality and deepening the socio-territorial polarization, diminishing the citizen participation.
