The present article is the product of a qualitative-theoretical investigation in which the objective is to investigate the notion of gender justice and, from there, to reflect on state policies oriented to this end. Specifically, this paper analyzes a public policy for equality: Cuerpo de Abogadas-os para victims of gender violence. The analysis period spans from 2015, the year in which the norm that gives rise to the analyzed policy was enacted, until 2021. From an exhaustive process of disclosure and documental processing, it is concluded that this is an experience that can be understood as a good practice on the way to equality and gender justice in the country. Therefore, the need to problematize and advance this policy is argued from an intersectional and intercultural feminist perspective capable of addressing the multiple inequalities that affect women and dissidents.
