Introduction:
Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease. It affects all age groups; however, it is rare in children. The aim is to present the case of an infant patient and report on the management of psoriasis in pediatric patients.
Clinical case:
Four-month-old female patient, who started her condition at two months, with the appearance of scaly erythematous plaques, which progressively affected most of the body surface. In histopathological analysis of skin biopsy, psoriasis vulgaris was confirmed, so treatment with topical calcipotriol was started, and after one month, significant improvement was observed.
Conclusion:
Since psoriasis vulgaris is a very rare condition in infants, there is little evidence to recommend any specific treatment.
