Introduction:
Simple bone cyst is a non-neoplastic, asymptomatic lesion, which is usually detected by radiographic finding. It is characterized by slow growth and non-expandable, which does not cause functional alteration.
Presentation of the case:
An 11-year-old female patient with a unicameral bone cyst that has atypical characteristics, at the level of the left mandibular ramus, with extension to the condyle and coronoid process, and with severe expansion of the bone Tables. Treatment was surgical, by simple curettage. Two years after the treatment, there is no recurrence.
Conclusions:
Diagnosis of cysts in the maxilla and mandible are common in oral and maxillofacial pathology, whose treatment is surgical.
