Aiming to find all possible origins or any explanations about the success or failure of this type of political regimen, the author analyzes here the doctrinal origin of the institutional and constitutional dimensions of the Mexican presidential-constitutional system. To get that the relevance and meaning of 1824 Constitution to the National settings are outlined -since such period to nowadays. The goal is to under-stand some of the success or mistakes in the current constitution's design as well as the presidential way of government, e.g. dual legitimacy' principle, and legal separation of governmental powers.
