Resumen
RUFER, Mario. Language and Experience without Place: Enunciation, Authority and the History of Others. Relac. Estud. hist. soc. [online]. 2013, vol.34, n.133, pp.79-115. ISSN 2448-7554.
This article focuses on the problem of authority in the languages of history. Taking specific cases of studies on the politics of memory in Argentina and South Africa, and subaltern voices, it analyzes how the construction of historical-scientific discourse (the place of the enunciation of the historical "source" and the broad problem of the "archive") comes into tension with post-colonial practices of narrating experiences of dispossession and violence. How are we to confront, from history, these discourses on hybridity that are not easily catalogued as testimonies, documents or "fiction"? What political dilemmas does historical discourse face here?
