Resumen
ANSOLABEHERE SESTI, Karina. Diffusers and vigilantes: Judicial institutions in human rights policy. Perf. latinoam. [online]. 2014, vol.22, n.44, pp.143-169. ISSN 0188-7653.
This article makes two main contributions to the study of judicial institutions in the field of human rights policy. The first one is the understanding of the characteristics that human rights policy assigns to the behavior of the judicial institutions that haven't been systemized yet. Two behaviors emerge in this review: the diffusion of international norms of human rights and justice itself. The second, deeply linked with the first, is to move forward in the knowledge of this field developing more complex and integral categories of analysis through the building of a typology of the judicial behavior in human rights policy that takes into account two expected behaviors: diffusion and justice.
