LARA MARTINEZ, Marco Antonio; PINA MARTINEZ, Vicente y TORRES PRADAS, Lourdes. E-goverment and Accountability in Regional Administration. Gest. polít. pública [online]. 2013, vol.22, n.spe, pp.105-135. ISSN 1405-1079.
Information and communication technologies (ICT) have allowed greater citizen participation and the improvement of government-citizens (G2C) relationships. this paper analyzes the websites of regional governments (states, regions) of five federal countries: Australia, Canada, Mexico, Spain and the United States), to measure the level of e-government development and the external factors that condition it. The findings show that the political dialogue dimension, more than the accountability dimension, presents the highest development. Therefore, political image appears as a priority in the regional and state framework.
