The handling of survival functions as Gompertz and Makeham type are presented since its origin, considering its antecedents, as well as the determination of the parameters of each one of this functions, using the method of not superimposed groups, commonly employee in actuarial sciences. The iterativo method is also presented that allows to purify, obtaining a better adjustment of the obtained results, what allows to project the parameters of the survival functions, obtaining abbreviated charts of mortality for five-year groups of age as much for the men as for the women in Mexico, at national level, for the years 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010. Finally are presented the increases in prospects age life between 1995 and 2010.
