Colombia presents one of the highest fertility rates in Latin-American. This paper contains an analysis of the teenage childbearing in Colombia for 2010 with a regional analysis that helps to find out the geographical areas with the highest prevalence of teenage fertility. Also, this paper presents a diagnostic of the patterns of use of contraceptive methods and an identification of the population groups with the highest levels of unmet need for family planning, that helps to estimate the access and use of contraceptive methods of the Colombian women teenagers.
