The aim of this paper is to estimate qualitatively the satisfaction of the beneficiaries of the programme Desarrollo Humano Oportunidades with the most important services offered, such as health, education, services offered by liquidating institutions and by the Opportunities staff members. To this end, we have used focus groups with the participation of 80 beneficiaries of urban and rural locations from four regions in Mexico. The results let us evaluate the perception that the beneficiaries have with respect to the service quality generated by the programme as well as identify the areas of improvement together with concrete actions for prevention, correction and self-improvement.
