Resumen

KRUGER, Rayssa Vieira; NUNES, Paulo Alexandre  y  BOURSCHEIDT, Deise Maria. Bolsa Família Program (BPF) and the labor market of Paraná (Brazil) in 2010. Econ. soc. territ [online]. 2017, vol.17, n.55, pp.777-808. ISSN 2448-6183.  https://doi.org/10.22136/est2017926.

The Bolsa Família Program (BPF) started in 2003, has been criticized mainly because of the conditions imposed for the receipt of the benefit and due to their enforcement. Thus, this study aims to examine whether there is a relationship between the proportion of families participating in the Bolsa Família Program and the labor market in Paraná, through the bivariate Moran’s I statistic. The results showed that activities related to the urban sector have greater sensitivity to the BFP and that the South Center Paraná has a disadvantaged labor market.

Palabras llave : Bolsa Família; employment; economic performance.
