BUZAI, Gustavo D.; MARCOS, Mariana y VELAZQUEZ, Guillermo. Spatial distribution of the quality of life in Great Buenos Aires agglomeration (Argentina). Econ. soc. territ [online]. 2022, vol.22, n.69, pp.727-757. Epub 16-Oct-2022. ISSN 2448-6183. https://doi.org/10.22136/est20221804.
Quality of life is a concept of growing interest in both society and academic discourse. There are discussions about its definition and the methodology to study it. Empirical work allows advances in analysing the living conditions of the population so that decision-makers can take the necessary measures to improve them. A quality of life index (QLI) is proposed as a synthetic measure that is applied to analyse the spatial distribution of the quality of life conditions in the Greater Buenos Aires agglomeration, defining model structures for their analysis and interpretation.
