The article presents an analytical approach to the Cultura Soviética magazine, published by the Mexican-Russian Cultural Exchange Institute between 1944-1954. This paper analyzes the ideological aspect of the content and the sections that constituted it, the Mexican left intellectuals who participated in it, the graphic relevance of the covers of the publication, the socialist ideological basis with which it approached the two central themes shown on its pages: the fight for peace and the vindication of national cultures; as well as its relations with the Soviet Union through the Society for Foreign Cultural Relations (VOKS). Likewise, the magazine stands out as an instrument of the ideological struggle in the context of the Cultural Cold War in Mexico.
