This paper deals with three feasts in honor to Santa Muerte in Chetumal, a city located at the confluence of the Caribbean and Central America. The text shows the general features of the celebrations organized annually by the parish church of the Lord of mercy and the Santa Muerte, attached to the Catholic Church traditional Mexico - United States, as well as two household altars that operate as esoteric centers. To characterize these occasions allows to understand the form in which there has developed a local religious practice, which far from having the only tradition, feeds proper rituals; the different local structures allow the believers to express its belief by means of the insertion in the organization of these festivities.
