Resumen

SEVILLA SANTO, Dora Esperanza; MARTIN PAVON, Mario José  y  JENARO RIO, Cristina. Perceptions on inclusive education: the vision of those who are for teachers. CPU-e. Rev. Investig. Educ [online]. 2017, n.25, pp.83-113. ISSN 1870-5308.

The aim of the study was to identify the perception on inclusive education of future teachers and to explore the impact their training process has on it. We assume that their perception has an impact by the way they respond to the peculiarities of their students. The study was developed under the quantitative paradigm, with a correlational and ex post facto design. For gathering information, the Scale of perceptions on inclusion by Larrivee and Cook was utilized. The data collected by way of conglomerate sampling corresponding to 1,150 students; 922 are students from three teaching schools, and 228 are students of two Schools of Education from the public University of Yucatán. The findings reveal that although future teachers are perceived able to address diversity, their perception towards inclusive education is negative, evidencing the lack of willingness to attend to this group.

Palabras llave : Diversity; inclusive education; educational needs; appraisal.
