TORRES DELGADO, Juan Manuel  y  RANGEL GUERRERO, Alejandra. The family as promote of the human and integral development of person from the Female perspective. Nova scientia [online]. 2010, vol.2, n.3, pp.151-166. ISSN 2007-0705.

Introduction: The family is not a passive receiver of social changes nor an immutable element of a world in constant transformation (Gracia and Musitu: 2000). In this work the fundamental part of the family as a harmonious structure of welcome and comfort, and recognition of the other, is defended (Levinás: 1999; Bubber: 1995). In it, the members find, by means of dialogue, the essential environmental conditions for the learning of values such as moral climate, security, confidence and responsibility which make possible, through experience, the appropriation of value. It starts from the necessity to make the family experience a privileged and irreplaceable situation for the learning of values. The family educates more by what is done than what is said. Method: The qualitative paradigm used for the present work helped to look for the understanding of the phenomenon over the prediction. It was followed by a hermeneutic process. The investigation model was exploratory descriptive. Results: Questions were made that helped to define how functional families are seen from the women's point of view, how they perceive their families and how values within their formation predominate. Harmonic family systems can develop in a balanced way the following aspects for the functionality of family dynamics, like authority, control, order, supervision, dialogue, affection, support, capacity to face the crisis, communication, adapted handling of resources, and rejection of negative affection. Discussion or Conclusion: Family is characterized by the internal existence of frequent conflicts, changes and difficulties. More than in face to an announced death of family, we are in presence of the development of forms or plural models of family including the nuclear family, as an adaptation to changing social situations. Feminist point of view opens a new perspective of analysis that was darkened by the unilateral, patriarchal vision of its objects of study. Family forms the most important group in relation to the individual psychological development, emotional interaction and preservation of self-esteem.

Palabras llave : Functional family; values; dialogue; harmony.
